About AnewAmerica's Green Business Certificate Program AnewAmerica’s Green Business Certificate Program was officially launched at our 9^th Anniversary Gala & Microbusiness Expo on November 13^th. The mission of the program is to enable and encourage AnewAmerica’s entrepreneurs to adopt green, sustainable business practices that facilitate ecological conservation, healthy environments, strong community development, and a vibrant local economy. Entrepreneurs reach green business certification levels by greening their operations or offering a green good or service. All AnewAmerica certified green business owners must have an active social responsibility plan. AnewAmerica’s entrepreneurs are servicing our communities and future generations by starting green and socially responsible businesses. In addition to the certificate program, AnewAmerica is providing green business support through implementing green curriculum in our Virtual Business Incubator classes and hosting green business experts as guest speakers. Our clients are learning about the importance of creating a green business from the beginning phase of the business planning program. Through the business development and growth phase of our program, AnewAmerica’s entrepreneurs have the opportunity to receive green business coaching from current green business owners and professional consultants. Our goal is to have all of our AnewAmerica Certified Green business eventually become certified by the Bay Area Green Business Association.
