AnewAmerica President to Speak in "New Metropolis" Conference |

AnewAmerica President Sylvia Rosales-Fike will be presenting in a round
table with other community leaders as part of a U.C. Berkeley conference
called "The New Metropolis: Social Change in California's
Cities."
The conference will focus on the ways in which globalization, immigration, and other economic and social trends have been transforming the ethnic, racial, and economic landscapes of California’s metropolitan areas. Matt Gonzalez will be the keynote speaker and will open the conference with the Raven Lecture on April 15, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. Panels throughout the day on April 16, 2004 will feature academic and community experts on these subjects.
