Dear friends of AnewAmerica: We are pleased to announce our new corporate name
AnewAmerica Community Corporation. This new name is in effect as of
January 1, 2004
. Our board of directors and staff completed the strategic business plan for our organization last September. As a result, our new name was adopted to better represent our mission and strategies to promote the long-term economic empowerment of new Americans--new citizens, immigrants and refugees--and to encourage their full participation in the political, social and cultural growth of America We are looking forward to working with all of
you in 2004. We have big plans and our strategies of business
incubation, asset building and social responsibility will now serve
additional new American communities, focusing on low-income working entrepreneurs, particularly women, and their families. Please update your records. Our tax
identification number remains the same. Our website remains the same www.anewamerica.org
Our address and phone numbers remain the same. Our
programs continue to grow stronger. Our leadership continues thriving in
creativity and excelling in our long-life commitment to make this
